CLINT

After a conversation with the wife about good actors Clint Eastwood was mentioned, this inspired me to get the graphite out and attempt a portrait of this fine actor. I've gone back a few years to when westerns were his thing. I do enjoy graphite but very time consuming layering and blending

Same subject different medium

As you can see i decided to have a go at a horse using watercolors and pastels. It had been some time since I splashed some paint around. I'm hoping my paint comeback is going to continue.

Pug

My youngest wanted me knock out a pug picture for his bedroom like all parents you don't like to disappoint. Again done in pastels I'm sure the fildly areas would be easier with pastel pencils.

German Shepherd

                         

A change from graphite was in order and I opted for the dusty messy pastels a method I haven't used so much. I'm pretty happy with the results on the most elegant of dogs the German Shepherd.                                                                                                  

                                                 

Footbàll crazy
