My van has broken down yet again so to try while away an hour before it goes to the garage,I got out the paints. Considering little time was spent painting the Bearded Tit it came better than expected. I really enjoyed it too.I may have a little tweek with it when time allows.
This is a lovely painting, especially where you say you spent little time on it. So many people paint wildlife as though they 'never move', but you have given this painting 'movement' as though this little bird is about to fly.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and interesting work, delicately painted and good drawing.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your blog.
Greetings.
Many Many thanks to the both of you. Im still working through the blogs Im following, there is so much to catch up on in your blogs
ReplyDeleteYour paintings are lovely! There is a lot of personality in these little woodland creatures. Thanks for following my blog!
ReplyDeleteAcuarelas muy sutiles y bellas , felicidades , un saludo Dani.
ReplyDeleteLove this one, and it's perfect as it is, no tweaking necessary in my opinion, love the movement in the grasses and the bird is painted with just enough detail to show what it is - I love bearded tits, but not got to see one yet for real
ReplyDeleteThankyou all and as I look at the picture even now sharon I stillfeel like tweeking adding a few more grass stems. perhaps I will leave as is and begin another
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely Paul. Less is more as they say. An ambition of mine is to see the elusive bearded tit one day. :-)
